As the Head of Strategic Workforce Planning, you will play a key role in building out a new Enterprise Strategic Workforce Planning capability. You will interact with senior leaders across the business, HR and Finance to take a holistic approach to answering key questions regarding linking business objectives to the skills, capabilities and people we need. Leveraging your analytical mindset and comfort with large datasets you will create models and/or leverage tools that will highlight workforce gaps to our current plans and take a data driven approach to the size of teams and how they are structured. You will be part of a larger team that spans People Analytics, Employee Experience, HR Effectiveness and eventually HR Operations. There will be plenty of opportunities for you to learn from and share your experience with a truly global team with a diverse set of skills. With success this role also has the potential to build a team.
You are entrepreneurial, proactive and highly organized and understand how to project manage, create complicated models, find insights in large and diverse data sets and communicate effectively with a diverse range of regional and global stakeholders and complex ambiguous environments.
Responsibilities:
Gain a strong understanding of OLX’s business objectives. Use a combination of internal and external data to generate insights about the workforce to support those goals
Partner cross functionally across HR, business, finance and other functions to create joint ownership and move away from strategic workforce planning being an “HR” activity.
Lead initiatives to identify strategic workforce requirements, where critical gaps might exist, and how to close them
Identify, prepare, and analyze internal people data to answer business questions and inform talent strategy
Coordinate with the People Analytics and HR Operations team regarding the implementation and maintenance of human resources related data that might be required for workforce modeling.
Contribute to the conceptualization and design of the scope, targets and objectives of the strategic workforce planning framework.
Provide support in the development and maintenance of tools and templates to support workforce planning within the division and across the enterprise
Requirements:
An undergraduate degree or the equivalent combination of training and experience required. Advanced degree in a related field preferred.
5+ years’ experience in People Analytics, HR, Accounting, Finance, Market Research, Strategy, Project Management, Consulting, Workforce Planning or related roles
Experience in workforce planning and/or financial analysis and planning strongly preferred.
Experience working in a consultative capacity with senior leadership strongly preferred.
Understanding of HR policies and processes is a “nice to have”.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High professional standards for client service, confidentiality, and quality of work.
Strong conceptual thinking skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively work independently and identify when to engage others.
This role can be based out of any location where OLX is present in the CET time zone +/- 1
